Can I swich my Sprint Samsung Instinct to another company that has prepaid?
The Sprint Samsung Instinct can be flashed for Cricket, Metro and Page Plus. Some dealers can but you might not get all the functions like web/mms. Only talk/text. Every flasher/dealer is different. Some are more technically proficient then others. Find out if you are in an area with Cricket and/or Metro. Call a dealer up or go online to find out. Make sure you are not in a Trimode service area as neither one of them can flash phones in a trimode area and the Instinct can’t work there anyway as it is not Trimode capable. If you are in a good area, go on Craigslist and look for a dealer /flasher who can do full flash as some can only do basic flash, which is only talk text. Sprint phones are difficult to get mms working. You might have to settle for talk/text/web and no mms/pic messaging. MAKE sure the guy can both flash and is a dealer.
