When it comes to baking powder and baking soda no try to add more of one to composite for another.. Baking soda makes things rise and if you add more powder and not enough of the soda then you will have a flat cake that does not taste very good. Go to the store and get you some soda.. Good luck.

yes you can but not with too much. see baking powder is baking soda but baking powder also has cream of tartar and cornstarch in it. u can make your own baking powder if you wanted. but heres a site that will expain it all.
