Can I still move to America if ive been declared bankrupt?
Yes, if u have declared bank corrupt, then you cannot move to live in USA, first you’d be asked when apply for visa (to move there) or even going to USA by ESTA (VWP), if you click yes to “Bank corrupt” you will be denied entry. Secondly, if your bank/creditors find out that you are leaving UK for long term basis, they can ask court order to issue an injunction (possible detention) to keep you in country. So, I’d recommend you resolve your financial matters, before you leave UK. Try to come with an agreement with the bank that you’d pay back but in installments, agree something the bank to avoid bankruptcy. Good luck.
