Yes – we still offer cataract surgery services. The ONLY difference is that, for ALBERTA patients only, Gimbel Eye Centre surgeons now perform cataract surgery procedures on Alberta patients at another surgical centre. (As of April 1, 2011, Alberta patients who choose to have Dr. Gimbel perform their cataract procedure WILL have their surgery at Gimbel Eye Centre Surgical Centre. Sadly, Drs.
