Can i still get pregnant even though im on my period?
It’s rare but not impossible. EDIT: The body is not “disposing” of the egg, the egg disintegrates and is absorbed by the body after 24 hours of ovulation. The uterus builds up the lining every month with blood “waiting” for the zygote to implant. If it does not, it sheds, thus the monthly period. Just commenting to the person who said it’s disposing the egg below me…. Women CAN get pregnant having sex during their periods because sperm can live in the body, even through period bleeding for up to 5 days, so if you ovulate early after your period, like I do ( I ovulate exactly a week after ovulation, sometimes even sooner, it’s just the way my body works) you can absolutely get pregnant from that.
