If you are on the same network, SlingPlayer will automatically discover the Finder ID and connect. If you are outside the network, you can try connecting with your IP and port number. Read “How To Find Your Slingbox Remotely” to learn more. In SlingPlayer 2.0, connections to your Slingbox are facilitated through the use of Sling Accounts, which do not require you to carry or remember your Finder ID.
