Can i still be able to learn how to do the splits?
You just have to be determined and make that your long term goal. If you are younger I’m sure you will be able to get to it faster, I was in no hurry. I am now all the way down on the my right side split (right leg in front). On the opposite side I am about 2 inches still off the ground which is a far cry than when I first started and it is improving everyday. I do 20 minutes of cardio to get the blood going, do weights and then do my stretching for flexibility when I’m done with my workout, where your muscles are warm. Take note there is a difference between light stretching PRIOR exercising (this is just to get your joints looser and some blood flowing and get your body ready to work), and stretching for flexibility which is done AFTER exercising. I would recommend doing it everyday, first start out by doing jumping jacks, running in place, jumping rope or something…then when you are ready to stretch start out with holding each stretch for 15 secs then eventually working up to hold
