Can I still be a doctor if I don like dealing with death and pain?
What I would do in your situation I would volunteer at a local hospital or nursing home first and help as an aid maybe even become a CNA. If you do okay with that then try nursing as you can use those credits later if you decide to become a dr. Personally I believe everyone has those feelings even drs. Helping others IMHO will help with the depression. Remember death is a part of life we all have to go through it one day if helping one person in this life make their life go just a little bit better or guide someone in the right direction that is truly a blessing. Besides if you were a dr. or a nurse and your smiling face or kindess was the last thing that person saw before they closed their eyes forever would be so much better than dying alone or with someone who did not like helping others as you do. I say go for it! Good luck!
