Can I sterilize the bottle, cap and tube in boiling water?
No. This will destroy the plastic material. Microwave Disinfection Clean the device with soap and water and shake off the excess water. Now place the bottle, cap and tube in the microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute. This will disinfect the device. There are no independent research studies to suggest that this is necessary, however, it is recommended by NeilMed. There are research studies in progress and it will take 1-2 years to publish the results.
