Well it depends on what you are going to trade, but 35k is likely a modest sum that you can use to start a small buz, e.g. apparel, gift items etc. The best location will depend largely on the stuffs that you trade, if you are in B2B type then a JTC factory or warehouse location is good enough but if its B2C then a mall is a better consideration (IMM, etc). You need to chk with HDB on the type of trades that you can run from your HDB home, but if you are staying in a condo/landed then you are able to register and run your operations from your home.
