Can I sponsor someone else for a SUNet ID?
Regular Stanford University faculty or staff may sponsor someone for computing services, as long as the person to be sponsored meets basic eligibility requirements. To sponsor someone for free SUNet services (no email) the sponsor must be a regular (not temporary or casual) faculty or staff member. Staff members with sponsored SUNet IDs are not eligible to sponsor other staff members. More information is available on the Sponsorship page.
