However it is a simple process to upgrade your existing satellite dish to support multiple satellite receivers. For a single satellite dish setup you will most likely have either a single or dual LNB on your satellite dish. For a dual LNB you will have two cables connected to a STB PVR that allows you to watch one program while recording another. A single LNB will only have one cable connected to the STB. A single LNB will look similar to this: A dual LNB will have two cables coming from the LNB. To get the best experience from Media Center I would recommend at least a dual tuner setup. Therefore, if you already have a STB PVR and you want to use both the Media Center and STB together, without swapping cables, you will need to change your LNB on the satellite dish to a quad LNB.
