What type of meat. My mom used to defrost meat in the microwave, they have a defrost cycle on them…. just make sure not to start cooking the meat. If it is chicken, put it in warm water 10 to 15 minutes… ground beef, if you are frying you can just fry and scrape the layers off as they cook and eventually break the frozen pieces up to finish cooking. Steaks, try warm water for a while as opposed to the microwave. The microwave will cook the meat a bit and toughen it up. That’s the problem with microwaves. Good luck!
