Can I skip a regularly scheduled assignment &/or examination in May/June & resit it in August?
If you do so, you will normally receive a fail mark for the May/June assignment/examination and the mark that you receive in August will be capped at 40. The only exceptions are where compelling mitigating circumstances have been demonstrated to the relevant Programme Board, resulting in approval of an uncapped reassessment. If there are circumstances that make sitting the exam impossible, please do fill out a Mitigating Circumstances Form (MCF) and submit it as early as possible with whatever documentation you can provide.
