Can I share my DEVONthink database using the iDisk?

Sure. The easiest and fastest method is to copy the complete folder, ~/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink (DEVONthink Personal), or your DEVONthink Professional database package from the Mac you’re currently using to the iDisk while DEVONthink is not running. You could, of course, also copy this folder or package to the iDisk and replace the local folder/package with an alias pointing to the DEVONthink folder/database package on the iDisk (name it “DEVONthink”, not “DEVONthink alias.) This way, DEVONthink would always work directly with the database stored on the iDisk. You should switch off ‘Create local copy of your iDisk’ in your System Preferences, though. We also recommend that you don’t modify the database on the iDisk concurrently from more than one machine.
