Can I share a trip with someone who doesn have a TripIt account?
Yes. If you send a private trip share invitation to someone who is not yet a TripIt user, we will create a temporary account for the recipient so they have a secure way to access your itinerary. If you prefer to share your trip without requiring the sharees to have TripIt accounts, you can generate a public trip URL. Click the “Share This Trip” button within your TripPlan and on the next page you’ll see an option to “Generate link.” You can then copy that URL and send it out to friends by email, post it on your blog, or distribute it however you like. Note: When you make your itinerary publicly available, anyone could discover your itinerary if they guess or stumble upon the URL, so use this option cautiously. Once you make a trip public, you can deactivate the public URL at any time by clicking the “Deactivate” link next to the URL. We generally recommend private trip sharing to maintain the confidentiality of your TripPlans.
