The Aquavista Panoramic Wall Aquarium is recommended for freshwater fish only. While the technology in the aquarium is advanced and of high enough quality to sustain a salt water aquarium, we do not recommend setting up a salt water aquarium because of the aluminum housing in the aquarium body. The salt water may cause corrosion and rusting on the aquarium frame.
