Can I set a limit for the number of minutes the controlled line can use on his/her cell phone through Usage Controls?
Yes, you can set an allowance for the number of billable voice minutes the controlled line uses. When the controlled line nears the allowance (15 minutes prior reaching the allowance), a free text message will be sent to their phone indicating that they are near their allowance. If the controlled line reaches the allowance, a free text message will be sent to the controlled line’s cell phone and to your cell phone indicating that the allowance was reached. You can choose whether to restrict additional voice usage or to allow additional voice usage once the allowance is reached. • Default Setting: Restrict additional voice calls until the next billing cycle. With this setting, once the allowance is reached, the controlled line will not be able to use their cell phone to place or receive calls that are billable or use the Anytime minutes included in their calling plan unless calling to/from a Trusted Number or other unrestricted numbers such as 911. The controlled line will still be able
