Yes, you can create custom automated emails for your clients when they place an order on your gift site.
1.login to your admin
2.click on Order Receipt under Advanced
3.Add or make changes to the default message, then click on update message.

“Send Receipt” button: if for some reason your customer didn’t receive their order receipt, or need another copy, just view the order details, then click on the bottom at the bottom.

order receipt emails before/after: New feature in your admin will allow you to choose whether you want to send an order email receipt immediately, or after receiving payment.

If you select “before”, emails will be sent to you and your customer right after creating an order. If you select “after”, emails will be sent when you change the status of the order to “paid” or if Paypal changes the status of the order to “Paid” via IPN.
