Can I scan microarrays or high-density arrays on a Typhoon or Storm PhosphorImager?

A. Fluorescently labelled microarrays (i.e. on a microscope slide) typically require the 10 micron pixel option which is avaliable on the Typhoon Trio+, 9410, 9210 and 8610 models. Scanning higher density whole genome microarrays that require 5 micron pixel resolution would not be advisable on the Typhoon. Radiolabelled high-density membrane arrays (i.e. macroarrays) can be exposed to phosphor screens which can then be imaged using Storage Phosphor mode (avaliable on Typhoon, Storm or PSI PhosphorImagers) using the 50 micron pixel option.
