Can I say that I have a biology degree on applications?

You can always put something like “anticipating completion in ___”, or state the issue and say how many credit hrs you’ve done, on a resume. If you aren’t cleared to graduate, you cannot say you have the degree. If it’s just one credit hour, is it not possible to just finish a summer or elective course or something? At the very least it would take a semester and not a year. Maybe you could do a transfer credit through distance learning (some of those institutions are open-registration, year-round), as opposed to an entire different degree. The regents degrees don’t look as if they are related to biology, but a course from them should be enough to finish off your Bio degree. If you get a letter of permission from your university, they will probably accept a distance course.
