You can save a test as a text file or an HTML file. To do this, be sure the Test window is selected and choose “Export” on the File menu. With versions through 2.0, the answer key will not be included. In version 2.0 and higher, you can save to a formatted text file (RTF). However, you might have trouble reformatting the exported text in certain versions of Microsoft Word. Also in version 2.0 for Windows, you won’t be able to export to a formatted text file if the test includes certain types of graphics (that were imported as .pcx rather than .bmp files). These problems have been corrected in later versions of TestGen-EQ. In the meantime, it is recommended that if you want to do your own formatting of your text, you export to a text file and not to a formatted text file. If you are using the Macintosh version, you can reformat the formatted text, and the program will export graphics with the formatted text file.
