Can I safely uninstall old versions of TaxCalc?
You can uninstall old versions from your computer as this will NOT remove the data files themselves. Please note the following: • Ensure your data files (which have suffix .s04 .s05 .s06, s07 etc) are backed up. You may wish to refer to this data at a later date and the files can be used to import some data into next year’s return. • You may uninstall earlier versions of the TaxCalc program using ‘Add Remove Programs’. • If you ever need to access the return data in the future, the old ‘versions’ of the software will be available as a download from your products page on our website.
