Can I run Smokeview on other machines?

Smokeview is more complicated to compile on other platforms because it uses several freeware libraries that need to be compiled and installed on that particular machine. We have compiled Smokeview on the PC, SGI (IRIX), and Red Hat Linux, but with the exception of the PC executable, there’s no guarantee that something we compile on one of our machines is going to work on yours. If you can’t find a version of Smokeview to run on your machine, let us know, and if possible we’ll try a compilation. Worse comes to worse, use a PC to visualize the output of a calculation run on your other machine.
