Can I run SlidePad without a dock icon?
We’re working on an update that will include this as an option in the Preferences. In the meantime you can use the following workaround: • Go to the Applications folder (or wherever you installed SlidePad) • Ctrl-Click on SlidePad.app and select Show Package Contents • Go to the Contents directory and double-click Info.plist • Click on one of the rows • Click Add Item • In the Key column enter NSUIElement and in the Value column enter 1 • Click Save and then select File > Quit The next time you start SlidePad it will be without a dock icon. • Yum • Yum starts but I can’t open any recipes Yum requires Mac OS X Leopard (10.5). If you’re still running Mac OS X Tiger (10.4) you can download an older version of Yum here.
