Can I run RadioWorks with off-the-shelf consumer model handheld devices?
This is not a good idea. Consumer model devices won’t have full alphanumeric keypads or built-in barcode scanners. They also are not ruggedized and break easily when dropped. Some sites with consumer model devices have problems with theft. We recommend devices specially designed for storeroom use that are ruggedized and have built-in laser scanners and full keypads. They cost more but for a good reason.
