Can I run BurnInTest for Linux if I am booting my Linux distribution from a CD/DVD?

Certain Linux distribution provide a live-cd/dvd that allow you to boot from without installing it onto your hard-drive. If you intend to run it this way, please note the following: i) See below about running the CD test in a Live CD envirnoment. ii) Because the file system is mounted temporarily, all files written will be lost if you reboot the machine. If you want to keep a copy of the logs, please copy it to a network drive or to a USB/FireWire drive.
