Can I run background compute jobs on GVU systems?

0

It is improper to run background jobs on GVU workstations during prime time lab hours, however running them overnight (10pm – 8am) is acceptable. We do require permission to run compute jobs overnight, so let us know that you will be running jobs. It isn’t necessary that you tell us every time you start a program, but just that you will be starting and how long you’ll be running the jobs. Feel free to drop by the Lab Manager’s office (CoC 210) to discuss your computing needs.
