You can use TPSTM optimization to determine how to optimally allocate your total investment across the assets in a current portfolio; even if one or more of those assets are assigned 0 shares in your current portfolio. To run either risk or Style Analysis on your portfolio, you must specify some number of shares for each of the assets in your current portfolio – Both portfolio risk and portfolio style are calculated using only those assets that have been assigned some number of shares.
