Location: http://www.jguru.com/faq/view.jsp?EID=271915 Created: Dec 7, 2000 Modified: 2001-11-01 00:13:00.84 Author: Bill Day (http://www.jguru.com/guru/viewbio.jsp?EID=135825) Sun has released an implementation of the J2ME Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP) for the PalmOS. Sun’s MIDP for PalmOS is available from: java.sun.com/products/midp4palm I also maintain a list of all of the J2ME CLDC and MIDP implementations of which I am aware as a part of the J2ME Archive, at: www.billday.com/j2me Note: Palm, Inc. has proposed a PDA Profile for J2ME which, like the MIDP, would require a CLDC implementation underneath. This work is just getting started now via the Java Community Process, so it is not yet clear how closely related this PDA Profile will or will not be to the MIDP.
