Can i ride a park snowboard all over the mountain easily?
There really isn’t a good park board for racing. Like the user above said you’ll get a lot of chatter and not a lot of stability at high speeds. Park boards are typically wider and softer and offer more flex and playfulness at slower speeds. They’re designed to take a beating and bend with every impact. That doesn’t translate well into racing, where a board is designed to be stiff and rigid to allow for the maximum carve. I would suggest looking into Head snowboards. I know a lot of people will start whining that they’re a ski company, but that just shows they don’t know what they’re talking about… Head uses a technology that’s called Intelligence. Its a speed relative flex. Basically the faster your board goes the more vibration, that vibration creates kinetic energy that’s used to stiffen the board. Soft at slow speeds stiff at high speeds… Oh and since Head is a newer company to the snowboard scene they’re relatively cheap…
