Can I reserve 10 double rooms on 11th August for 5 nights?
– You have booked a Grouse shoot on a local Estate and the Estate has recommended Dalrachney Lodge. It is March and it is 5 months until the shoot. Fact is that every few years Grouse shoots are cancelled around June/July time for reasons of stock and disease. The Estate will return your deposit but we can be left with empty rooms since August books up well ahead and we have been turning away other reservations for your period. Generally no such difficulties exist with any other Estate based sports.
