Can i request and early vaginal scan?
I lost a pregnancy in April and when I went for my follow up scan they told me when I get my next positive test ring them and they will arrange a reassurance scan. I had a scan at almost 7 weeks and was able to see everything including the heart beat. I’m also in the UK so I suggest you ring the early pregnancy assessment clinic at your hospital and ask to arrange it, occasionally you have to get a referral from your GP but they usually have no problem in giving those.
I know how you feel. I had a miscarriage 3 years ago and I’m now 11 weeks pregnant. For the past 3 years we have been trying and trying but we’ve succeeded. And I was worried at the beginning, I was worried that I will miscarry again but I prayed to God to keep this baby healthy. One day I spotted some brown discharge (at 8 weeks) and I went to hospital, they did a scan and everything was ok 🙂 Don’t worry, look after yourself and the baby inside you and I’m sure that everything will be fine. If you are worried you can go to hospital and ask them for a scan, they’re normally helpful and understanding. But as i said try not to thing about it and relax! Stress is not good at all!
