Can I replace my bridge with dental implants?

Dental implants are a wonderful alternative to the dental bridges or missing teeth.  A complete examination of the jaw bone is necessary, including digital x-rays, to determine if there is adequate bone available for a dental implant to be inserted into.  Sometimes, additional bone grafting is necessary to acheive a suitable foundation for dental implant therapy.  The whole procedure is usually painless, espescially when aided by a dental laser.  I’m guessing you are aware of a problem with your exisiting dental bridge, I would ask you dentist if he offers dental implants.  If not, seek a referral from a friend or collegue and get a dental implant cosultation before replacing the bridge work.
