Can I replace ANY switch with a PowerSURE Power Failure Light switch?
The first model of PowerSURE Power Failure Light Decorator style switch will replace most 15 Amp light switches. The switch is a standard single-pole switch. This means that it controls a light or other load from a single location. At this time, it can’t be used in a 3-way or hallway light circuit – the type used at two ends of a hall, staircase or two entrances to a large room to control the same light. In addition the PowerSURE Power Failure Light switch requires a neutral wire to operate the safety light circuit.
