Can I rename my Stargate, or have two in one region?
A. Yes! Multiple Stargates can operate within a single region; however, only the gate created earliest (even after de/re-rez) will receive connections when dialed by region name. You can, however, directly dial a specific gate using its gate address which can be obtained on the Network Status page or by speaking ‘stargate version’ to your v109 or higher Stargate. Dialing direct is as easy as saying ‘dd:myhomegateaddress’ Q.
