Yes, the host ID is stored in a removable system configuration card (SCC). For security reasons, a zip tie must first be removed to prevent unauthorized removal. You can then insert the SCC into another Netra 20 server, thereby transferring the host ID, MAC address, and NVRAM settings to the new server. This feature, associated with system replacement or upgrade, reduces downtime.
