Can I remove Model Packs from my Line 6 device or transfer them to a different Line 6 device?
Once you’ve purchased one or more Model Packs and received a License Key, you can use it to activate those Models in any single supported Line 6 product. Once installed, you can remove them and move them to another Model Pack capable Line 6 device, but the Model Packs can only live in one device at a time. You can activate packs in additional units simultaneously by purchasing additional License Keys. If you wish to sell any Line 6 device that contains Model Packs, you have the option to remove them and install them into a different Model Pack capable device, or leave them installed in the device at the time of the sale and ownership of those Model Packs will pass on to the new owner. If you do wish to transfer Model Packs from a device you wish to sell, it is extremely important that you remove the Model Packs from the device before you sell it. Model Packs that are preinstalled at the factory cannot be moved between products.
