Can i remove a house martins bird nest?
They could be House Martins or Swallows ,either of which will be no longer using them as the young will have already left their nests and possibly on their way to warmer climbs(migrating) the best thing to do is at dusk check for any birds using them,if not then you can remove the nests,but as one has said ,if your house is in an ideal position they Will Return and build again, You must also remember that it is Illegal to remove the nests in the Breeding season,April till July.(If they return next year) but you can remove them now if as above.
