Each MasterCard card must be separately registered for SecureCode so that it is individually protected. For each account registration, you will be asked to select a SecureCode that complies with our requirements (6-10 characters with at least one number and one letter). We recommend that you select a SecureCode that will be easy for you to remember, but difficult for others to guess.

For each account registration, you will be asked to select a SecureCode that complies with Canadian Tire Bank requirements. If you share a joint account with the same card number, then both cards will have the same SecureCode. We recommend that you select a SecureCode that will be easy for you to remember, but difficult for others to guess.
