Refilling ink cartridges is always a risk. I experienced the worst-case scenario when a refilled black cartridge leaked ink and ruined both the printer and the desk it was sitting on. Other problems include faulty functioning (streaks, one color not coming through) to clogged jet holes and no printing at all. But most people seem to be lucky, or the refill business wouldn’t be so ubiquitous.
