Yes, federal financial aid is available for those students who qualify. All ASI students must complete the free online FAFSA form found at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. For summer 2009 financial aid, you and/or your parents will need to complete the 2008-2009 FAFSA form, using 2007 tax information. For fall 2009 financial aid, you and/or your parents will need to complete the 2009-2010 FAFSA form, using 2008 tax information. It usually takes 5 weeks for aid to be processed and disbursed, so we encourage you to apply by May 1, 2009. If you are eligible for financial aid, you will receive an award letter from the Financial Aid Office. You must follow all directions. Otherwise, you will delay the processing of your aid. Financial aid awards for Summer 2009 will not affect your financial aid for the 2009-2010 academic year.
