Examples of areas for prior learning include the liberal arts (i.e. literature, philosophy, religion, history, sociology, anthropology, political science, creative writing, and foreign languages) and the non-liberal arts (i.e. fine arts, music, theater, dance, film production, photography, journalism, computers, counseling, and business).
