Can I receive additional aid above the cost of tuition, books and fees?

Distance Learning students receive a standard award including: tuition, books and fees. An award for living expenses is not included in your financial aid package unless a written request is made to the Office of Financial Aid. Living expenses are awarded per term and cannot be utilized more than once every 16 weeks. You may request up to $6,000 per term above the cost of tuition/books/fees; however the funds will be come (all or in a large portion) in the form of unsubsidized loan funds.
