Can I receive a “one time only” payment for in-service credit on courses or conferences taken outside the district and also receive reimbursement for the cost of the course?
The district does not typically pay for both forms of reimbursement for the same activity. If you receive reimbursement for registration fees from the district, you are not able to get in-service credits for that time. Additionally, in-service credit is only granted for activities which occur outside your scheduled school day.
