Can I qualify for the Streamline Refinance Program if I have a home equity line of credit or home equity loan secured on my property?

You may be eligible for a Streamline Refinance even if you have a 2nd lien on your property such as home equity line of credit or home equity loan. Most 2nd lien lenders will allow you to refinance your first mortgage and keep your 2nd lien open. Provident Funding will require the 2nd lien lender to complete a subordination agreement to complete your Streamline Refinance. Provident Funding may require a new appraisal on your property if you have obtained a 2nd lien since the time you financed your existing first mortgage that Provident Funding currently services.
