Can i put peel & stick tiles in the garage?
If the garage floor is completely free of dirt, oil and grease, and is completely smooth and flat, yes, you can place peel and stick tiles on the floor if there is absolutely no chance of moisture getting into contact with the floor. My brother is the cleanest grease monkey I have ever met. His garage is more organized than my kitchen. He has it set up meticulously and no cars are allowed in his garage with the black and white linoleum commercial grade tiles (99 cents each, at Home Depot). Every now and then he needs to replace the first course of tiles near the garage door due to moisture from the rain. However, there is a better and less expensive way to finish the garage floor which will be a great alternative. My friend did this to her garage and i must say that it looks so darn good. She got, at a home improvement store, this paint meant for garage/concrete floors/foundations.
