Can i put my fish tank and decorations in the dish washer?
What size tank? Do you have a heater and filter? What fish do you have? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Please don’t! It will NOT WORK! The dish washer is NOT safe for fish supplies. They are meant to be for DISHES not FISH. The soap may leave behind residue and even after you rinse it well may STILL HAVE soap left that will kill the fish if you DO was it with soap. You will kill all the good bacteria in the gravel bed and you must cycle ANOTHER TIME before you add anymore new fish. You still have to supplement them with veggies and algae wafers along with the algae on the tank. Just boil the veggies (zuchini, squash, brocolli…) in a pot for 2~3 minuts until they are soft, then sink in the tank and leave it for a few hours, NOT days.
