Can i put another cockatiel into my 8 month cockatiels cage?

First of all, not all birds get along. Some do, some don’t. You said you’ve had her sense she was a baby. That means she is already used to her environment and her territory. Her territory = her cage. So all of a sudden putting a male cockatiel in her cage will cause her to feel protective. Well, you’ve said she already is noisy. Adding another cockatiel, especially a vocal male, will only increase her chances of being noisier! Two birds usually end up chattering to each other most of the day. Another thing to keep in mind, is that keeping a male in her cage will make it harder to tame the male, and you will have to be open to the idea of having baby birds soon. All in all, you’ve had her eight months, and I think you should just keep her and not get another bird. If you do however want another bird, putting him in another cage would be fine. But your female bird would probably still be noisier.
