Yes, with enough time, money, determination, and knowledge/info you could do it. The thing is no one has done it yet so it is hard to say exactly how hard it would be to do this swap. I have personally performed several Honda swaps in the past few years, and I can tell you that they are not easy. Nothing just plops together that easy. There are several hopeful advantages to pulling this swap of. One both the 1998 and 2008 V6 Accords use the same series engine block. This means that your 1998 engine mounts will bolt straight onto the new 2008 block. This is also true with your 1998 transmission. If your 1998 Accord is a Manual Tran. then things will also be much simpler than an automatic. However, the 2008 6 speed MT is a different transmission then the 1998 5 speed MT. I am pretty sure your 1998 transmission mounts will not fit onto the new 6 speed MT. So if you wanted to use the newer 6 speed tran. you would have to modify the mounts that it uses to fit onto your 1998 chassis. No one
